How Price Alerts Work
Prices at saved stations and chargers are checked on the server — the app does not poll in the background, so alerts cost virtually no battery. Fuel alerts fire on moves of 1p/L or more, charging alerts on 1p/kWh, and saved routes notify when their cheapest station drops by 2p/L.
